M. Lunger, died at their home in Sebewa, on Thursday morning last, aged 22 years. Deceased was South with Allie Reed’s circus during the past spring and summer, and while there his wife passed through a long and serious illness of fever. As soon as she was able to travel they came home. Soon after their arrival Jay was taken ill with what soon developed into typhoid fever. He got very much better – indeed was pronounced out of danger. He suffered a relapse, however, ending with his death. The funeral services were conducted from his late home on Saturday, a minister of the Seventh Day Advent faith of Battle Creek, conducting the services. Interment was made in Portland cemetery. Deceased was a young man of good habits and well liked by his companions and friends. He leaves a widow but no children.
