Mrs. Luscombe had been sick for about a week, but for the past year or two had been mentally incompetent, only at brief intervals being able to understand what was said to her or to realize anything. Her husband died about a half year ago and her daughter, Mrs. Emma Case, with whom the old couple resided, died about two months ago. Mrs. Luscombe was a pioneer of Otisco township and formerly lived in the Cook’s Corners neighborhood. Her funeral was held from the house, Saturday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. H.E. Curch officiating and burial was by the side of her husband in Otisco cemetery.
