Pioneer Woman Answers Summons

Mrs. J.B. Luscombe, aged 74, passed away at her home, 222 Putney street at 2:45
o’clock, Sunday afternoon, November 15th, after a several weeks illness caused
by heart trouble.  Funeral services were held from the home this Wednesday
afternoon, Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating, and burial was in Otisco cemetery. 
Surviving are the husband, four daughters and one son: Mrs. Myrt Green, of
Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Lucy Beardsley, of Sheridan; Mrs. Fannie Dean, of
Barryton; Mrs. Alta Jensen, of this city, and Robert Luscombe, of Greenville,
also five sisters, Mrs. Helen Smith, of Ionia; Mrs. Cecelia Crane, of
Greenville; Mrs. Mary Mills, of Sheridan; Mrs. Florence Holcomb, of Ithaca, and
Mrs. Eliza Tebbel, of Lansing.  Three brothers, Fred McNitt, of Lansing; John
McNitt, of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mark McNitt, of La Porte, Texas.  Mrs.
Luscombe had been a lifelong resident of this community.
