Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thurs., Sept 28, 1972
Mrs. Edith Weltman Luther, 81, formerly of Chicago, Ill., died Wednesday 
evening at Ionia Manor where she had been since January.

The previous eight years she had made her home with her stepdaughter, Mrs. R. 
Leon Pierson of Ionia.  She was preceded in death by her husband Earl O. 
Luther, in 1958.

Also surviving are another stepdaughter; stepson and a nephew of West Chicago 
Ill.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Woodard Lake cemetery with 
Rev. Charles W. Fullmer officiating. 

Mrs. Luther is at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.
