Elaine M. Lutz, age 84, of Fenwick, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2004, 
at the Heartland Health Care Center in Ionia.  Elaine was born April 23, 1919 
in Hubbardston to Frank and Margerite (Welsh) Dailey. 

She married Orville Lutz on May 24, 1937 in Hubbardston. She was a member of 
the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She worked for Chrysler at the plant 
in Lyons, the State of Michigan and as a cook for 21 years at the Palo School 
System. Elaine was an avid reader of many kinds of novels.

She is survived by her nephews, nieces and many friends.  Elaine was preceded 
in death by her parents, husband Orville and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday at St. John the Baptist Church in 
Hubbardston with Fr. Charlon Mason officiating. Rosary will be prayed Sunday 
at 8 p.m. at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City.  Visitation is 2 
p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Burial will 
be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Hubbardston. Donations may be made to 
the American Diabetes Association or the church.
