Ionia Daily Sentinel – 3 September 1976
Joseph A. Luyben, 28, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, died suddenly August 5.  He was 
brother of John Luyben, Ionia district court probation officer.  He was born in 
Liberia, West Africa, November 15, 1947, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl W. 
Luyben.  A veteran of the Vietnam conflict, he served with the Navy and had 
resided in Post Falls, Idaho and Orleans.  Survivors include his parents; one 
sister, Marie Luyben of Patterson, New Jersey, and three brothers, Stephen of 
Boston, Massachusetts, Paul of Courtland, New York and John of Orleans.



Graveside services were 2 pm Friday in Orleans cemetery after cremation in 
Idaho.   Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiated.  
Arrangements were made by the Charles M Courser funeral home in Belding.
