Lake Odessa Wave - Thursday July 5, 1962

Lyle E. Lydy Died Saturday

Lyle E. Lydy, 51, route one farmer and lifelong resident of the area passed away 
Saturday evening at Pennock hospital. He had been in ill health for two years 
and his condition became worse in the last four weeks. He was hospitalized for a 
week.

Mr. Lydy was a member of the Brown-Tamarac Farm Burial.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Ainsworth, whom he married in 1934; 
his parents Mr and Mrs.Scott Lydy; a sister Mrs.Lillian Hayward of Hastings and 
two brothers George and Vaughn both of Hastings.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with 
burial in the Lakeside cemetery. Rev. M.Luther Brokaw officiated,
