LYNN

Ralph Edgar Lynn, age 81 of Ionia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by 
his family on Thursday, February 3, 3033. Ralph was born on November 20, 1940, 
the son of Robert and Vera (Rhodes) Lynn in Detroit.On April 24, 1965, he 
married Janet Hansen. Ralph proudly served his country with the United States 
Air Force, during the Vietnam War.

Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed the annual 
Lynn Family golf outing. He was an avid Michigan Football fan and enjoyed 
attending car shows.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet, children, Sherry (Mark) Werner of 
Lowell, Terry (Sheri) Lynn, Gary (Terry) Lynn and Larry Lynn all of Ionia; 
brother, Roy (Debbie) Lynn, and special friend Carol Stowe of Fowlerville; 
sisters,Joyce Scepka of Perry and Donna (Paul) Bauby of Fowlerville; sister-in-
law,Opal Hansen; grandchildren, Alex (Courtney) Lynn, Macky (Tyler) Waters,Madi 
Lynn, Katie Lynn, Carmen Holthus and Krystal Holthus; and great-grandchildren, 
Caroline and Molly Lynn.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale Lynn; brother-in-
law's, Tom Lock, Jerry Scepka and Tim Hansen; and sister-in-law's, Phyllis Lock 
and Betsy Lynn.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 PM,Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 
the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations 
be made to Ionia area Hospice. Online condolences can be made at
