Lyon, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lyon, of Danby, died at his home on the Potter farm, in that township early Friday morning. He had been ill with pneumonia, following influenza, and asthma, to which he had been subject for several months, furnished complications. He married Miss Esther Cavalry, of Portland, six years ago and there are two children, both boys, one but nine weeks old and the other three years. Mr. Lyon had bought the Potter farm on a contract and was making good. he was well liked by all who knew him. He was born near Basset, Neb., Nov. 23, 1891. Funeral services were held at the house Monday afternoon, Rev. J. M. DeVette, of the Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Danby cemetery.
