Lake Odessa Wave - December 21, 1983
          KATHERYN GALE LYON
   LAKE ODESSA - Katheryn Gale Lyon, 77, of 312 Pin Oak, East Lansing, a former Lake
Odessa resident died 
Dec. 14 at her residence.
   Born Jan. 25, 1906, in Grand Rapids, she was the daughter of Clayton and Mary
King Packard.
   Surviving are her husband, Sanford; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Eyerly of
Arlington Heights, Ill.;  three 
sons, Edmond of Grand Rapids, Edward of Tampa, Fla., and James of East Lansing; 17
grandchildren; three 
great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
   Rosary services were Friday evening at 7:30, at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel,
Lake odessa.
    Funeral mass was Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Edward's Church, Lake Odessa with
the Rev. Louis Baudone 
officiating.
