The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 19, 1934
Charles Lystrup, 80 years old, died at his home at 903 Vine street in 
Manistee, at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, following a heart attack.  My Lystrup 
was a native of Denmark, coming to United States with his brother when a young 
boy, and settling in Ionia county.  He had for years been employed by the 
Hayes Ionia Body company.  About six years ago he moved to Manistee where he 
has two children living.  He is survived by his wife, and six children, Harry 
Lystrup, of Ionia; Gordon Lystrup of Manistee; Mrs. Joe Powell of Ionia; Mrs. 
Mildred Shewe of Manistee; Mrs. Otto Ayres and Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Ionia.  
Funeral services have not been arranged.
