She had been ill 10 months. Mrs. Lystrup was born in Tondern, Germany, October 27, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Jensen. She came to the United States when she was 18 years old and made her home at Manistee. She was married there in 1888 to Carl Lystrup, who died in 1934. Mrs. Lystrup lived at Manistee until 18 years ago when she moved to Ionia and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Powell of 609 Hackett street. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Ella) Johnson and Mrs. Joe (Esther) Powell of Ionia and Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Shewe of Manistee; two sons, Harry Lystrup of Ionai, and Gordon of Ypsilanti; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Otto Ayers, died in 1955. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Myers funeral home by George Parkinson. Following the prayer service the body of Mrs. Lystrup will be taken to the LeValle-Johnson funeral home at Manistee where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be at the Oakgrove cemetery in Manistee. The family will be at the Myers funeral home Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. to receive friends.
