SHIRLEY ANN LYTLE 1946-2017
Shirley Ann Lytle "Granny" aged 71 of Lyons passed away May 27, 2017 at her home 
surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 15, 1946 in Ionia the 
daughter of Lewis and Edna (Priest) Meyers.

She married the love of her live James Lytle July 10, 1965 in Lyons. Shirley 
worked at Ionia Public Schools as a Para Pro for many years. She loved cooking, 
crafting, gardening and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years James Lytle of Lyons. Children; Patricia 
(Mark) Rogers of Ionia, Andrew (Amy) Lytle of Saranac and Cory (Leslie) Lytle of 
Lyons. Grandchildren: Jessica Wood, Kelcye (Cylan) Emmons, Zacharey (Erin) Lytle 
and Brooke Lytle. Granddogs; Shaddow, Buck and Kane. Great grandchilden; Everett 
Emmons, Noah Emmons, Cash Emmons, Kydin Wood and Jaxon Lytle. Sisters; Lillian 
(Thomas) Tefft of Ionia, Sally Lauer of Sheridan and Laura Martin of Ionia. 
Godson Joseph Tefft. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Preceding Shirley in death are her parents, brother Randy Meyers, brothers-in-
law Al martin, Fred Erridge, Richard Lytle, Rex Brown Sr. and Robert Lytle, 
Mother and Father-in-law Howard and Dorothy Lytle.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Ionia with Cory Lytle presiding.Interment Tuttle Cemetery. 
Visitation will be on Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral Home. those wishing may 
make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Ionia County Relay for Life.
