Lytle, aged 72, of Lake Odessa, passed away Aug. 28, 2015, at his home. He was born Feb. 11, 1943, in Ionia the son of Howard and Dorothy (Essex) Lytle. Bob married Mary Everitt Oct. 6, 2002. Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and all around great man. He was a supervisor at Steelcase for many years and later worked as a salesman for Caswell’s in Ionia. Bob loved racing especially Tony Stewart. He loved hunting and playing poker. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Lytle of Lake Odessa; children, Robert (Linda) Lytle of Coopersville, Tim (Becky) Lytle of Saranac, Charlene (Garrett) Whitcomb of Battle Creek, Chelly (Lou) Frizzell of Woodland, Michael (Melinda) Lytle of Lake Odessa, Laurie (Randy) Clapper of Fruitport, Cheryl Everitt and Jason of Sunfield and Charles (Jennifer) Everitt of Woodland. Brother James (Shirley) Lytle of Lyons. Sisters in law Shirley Lytle of Ionia and Shereen Lytle of Ionia; 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Fred and Richard. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday 6-8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia Area Hospice.
