LyVere, 60, of 3613 Keefer Hwy., Lyons, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, in a Lansing hospital. He was born Aug. 13, 1923 in Portland Township, the son of Percy and Emma LyVere. He attended Portland High School, and served with the United States Army during World War II. Mr. LyVere was a tool and die maker at General Time and Rubber of Ionia. Survivors include his father, Percy; one brother, Jack of Mancelona; and one sister, Sally Floyd of Lyons. Services were held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 25, from the Lyons Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Carmichael officiating. Burial was made in the Keefer Cemetery.
