Interment will be made in Palo cemetery beside his wife. Mr. Mabie, 73, died Thursday morning, November 17 at 4 o'clock in his rooms in the Jack Block where he has lived for 12 years. He had been confined to his rooms about two weeks with illness and was in poor health for some time. He was born July 16, 1865 in Bushnell township, Montcalm county where he lived several years, on the old homestead farm south and west of Palo near the Sunnyside cemetery. At one time he resided on a farm just south of Vickeryville, now known as the C.D. Lutz farm and in Ferris township. Surviving him are a brother, Raymond Mabie of Lansing and an adopted daughter, Mrs. William Aulls of Muir.
