Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Sep 1981

Florence (Valerie) MacDonough, 80, formerly of Ionia, died Thursday in 
Kalamazoo.  She was born Sept. 13, 1900 in Buffalo, N.Y.  She was married in 
1921 to Harry T. MacDonough.  He died Dec. 31, 1969.  She was part-owner with 
her husband for 50 years of the camera and gift shop on Main Street in Ionia.  
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by one son, William MacDonough, of Kalamazoo, and four 
grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Myers Roetman Funeral Home, with 
the Rev. Carl Hausermann officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Olivet 
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
