MacDonough, 75, of 307 ½ West Main, who died Wednesday will be Saturday at 10 a.m.at SS Peter and Paul church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Mr. MacDonough was born February 20, 1894 in Burlington, Vt., the son of Francis and Mary Ellen Ryan MacDonough. He was graduated from Burlington high school and University of Vermont. February 22, 1923 he was married in Ionia to Valerie King, who survives. He had been a businessman in Ionia 47 years and professional photographer 44 years. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul church, Gerard Horrocks American Legion post, the VFW, and also life member of Elks lodge. He served with the Army from 1914 to 1918 and was a sergeant in the medical corps serving with the 103 ambulance company 26 Yankee division. Surviving besides his wife Valerie are a son William of Kalamazoo and four grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Myers funeral home.
