Lake O. Wave, Wed. March 9, 1983

WOODLAND- Michael L. MacKenzie, 17, 8964 Jordan Road, Woodland, died Friday 
evening from accidental injuries.

He was born December 15, 1965, in Hastings, the son of Douglas and Judith Smith 
MacKenzie.

He was a Junior at Lakewood High School, a member of the National Honor Society 
and also a member of Future Farmers of America.

He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Mackenzie of 
Hastings, Mr. Olo Smith of Woodland; three brothers, Douglas of Holton, Jeffrey 
and Gregory at home; one sister, Yvonne also at home, several aunts, uncles and 
cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 
Woodland, with the Rev. Timothy Rothfuss and Rev. Pamela Owens officiating. 

Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park.
