MacNeven, 83, of Muskegon, passed away Aug. 6, 1000. He was born on Sept. 23, 1916 in Grayling, to Peter and Winifred MacNeven. He later married Ethel Christopher. After retiring from the Michigan Reformatory in Ionia, Mr. MacNeven moved to Luzerne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; his children, Lee Christopher and Jean Hodges; and his siblings, Shirley Hurley and Clinton MacNeven. Mr. MacNeven is survived by his daughter, Kathy Cobb of Muskegon; his daughter-in- law, Thelma Christopher of Nashville; 19 grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Achterhoff Funeral Home, 1751 Peck St. Muskegon. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
