Ionia Daily Sentinel, 8 Mar 1933

Ray Maden, 55?, formerly of Ionia, republican candidate for mayor of Alma, 
dropped dead Monday at his home of a heart attack, which members of the family 
think was caused by the strain of activity in the election campaign.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Episcopal church at Alma Thursday 
afternoon at 1:30.

Madden was a retired locomotive engineer on the Grand Rapids-Saginaw division.
