Lyle C. Madden, 63, passed away Wednesday, May 21, at Battle Creek Veterans
Hospital where he had been a patient for 22 years.  He was born in this city
June 1, 1894, the son of Charles and Bertha Madden.  He was a veteran of World
War I and served for two years overseas.  He is survived by one daughter, Margie
who lives in Washington State.

Funeral services were held Saturday at two o’clock at Huffman Funeral Home with
Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and the burial was in River Ridge cemetery.  Pall
bearers were Glen Lambertson, William Richardson, Frank Hubbard, Monty Burger,
Vern McIntosh and Ray Young.
