He was born in Cedar Springs, September 7, 1907. He was a a retired truck driver for Great Lakes express and a member of Church of God in Belding. Surviving besides the widow, the former Wahneta Harger, are three daughters, Mrs.Lucille Parks of Grand Rapids, Mrs.Theola Gerd of Marne and Mrs.Sandra Bliss of Comstock Park; three sons, Theodore and Harold of Comstock Park and Gailen of Belmont; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sister, Mrs.Violet Kleibush of Sparta; six brothers, Samuel and Clare of Cedar Springs, Alvin and Herman of Sand Lake, George of Kent City and Ryland of Belmont; two stepchildren and two step-grandchildren. Private services were Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Charles M.Courser Funeral Home in Belding. Rev. Arnold Cromlish officiated and interment was at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.
