                              Lester "Gar" Mahlich

Lester Gar" Mahlich, 57, of Saranac, loving husband, father, and grandfather 
passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was born on Oct.6, 1952 in Carson 
City, the son of Lester and Amelia (Madole) Mahlich.

Gar loved and was loved by all. He really loved reading his Bible and going to 
church, umpiring and bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis; two children by his first wife Ruth; Erin and 
Kevin; four step-children, Chrissy, Jeannie, Andy and Bill; 15 grandkids, two 
great-granddaughters; two step-grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Kim) and Jeff 
(Carol); sister, Cindy (Dean); several nieces and nephews; three brothers-in-law 
and one sister-in-law.

The Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Ashley 
Baptist Church, 10463 Belding Road, Belding with Rev. David Oliver, presiding.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from noon to the time 
of service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family 
in memory of Mr.Lester"Gar"Mahlich.
