The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, August 27, 1938

Miss Jennie Parmlee, James Parmlee and Mrs. Hazel Herrick attended the funeral 
of their aunt, Mrs. Hattie Mahoney in Grand Rapids Tuesday.  Mrs. Mahoney was 
60 years old and a former resident in Berlin township.  Burial was in the 
Saranac cemetery.
