LEAVES WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN BESIDES MANY FRIENDS. -------------- Obituary George Maile was born in Cambridgeshire, England, in July 1848, at the time of his death being 71 years and eight months old. He came to America at the age of 20, he was married to Mary Shumway at the age of 28 years. Three children were born to them: Mrs. Lena Stafford of Kalamazoo, Marshall Maile of Grand Rapids and Frank at home. There are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all living. They made their home in Schoolcraft for about four years, from thence to South Haven where they lived until about 15 years ago when they moved to Lake Odessa where they have since made their home. Mr. Maile is one of nine children, five of whom survive, four brothers and one sister. He will be remembered as a kind, loving husband, father and neighbor; always patient and never complaining. He was always a faithful Christian and died in that faith. He was a member of the M. E. church in Lake Odessa. The funeral was held at the home Monday, Rev. A. F. Nagler the pastor preaching the sermon and interment was at Lakeside cemetery. -------------- CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their sympathy and kindness at the time of our recent bereavement.
