The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, October 20, 1913

John Main, aged 77, died at his home this morning at 4:30.  Funeral from the 
residence, South Jefferson street Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment 
in Highland Park cemetery.  The deceased was an old soldier.
