The Ionia Standard, Friday, September 24, 1909

The infant son, Alvin, 13 months old, of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Main, died Sun. 
night at 11:30 after an illness of a few days.  The family came here from 
Greenville only about ten days ago.  Prayer service by Rev. Dr. Lewis was held 
at the home on Harter St., at 3:30 this afternoon and remains were taken to 
Greenville by 4:50 train.
