Born May 20, 1954 in Hastings to Joseph Anthony Sr. & Maudaline (Rathbun) Majinska. Joe grew up on a farm in Lake Odessa & graduated from Lakewood High School. He entered into the Penn State University Fire Suppression Apprenticeship Program. In 1975 he married Deborah E.King of Greenville,MI.,they enjoyed 47 years of marriage. In 2020 they retired to Northern Michigan, fulfilling their lifelong dream. He owned & Operated American Fire Protection of Lansing with his long time friend & partner Matthew Miller. Survived by wife, Deborah, children Emily (Kale) Dicks and Joseph (Corrie) Majinska, grandchildren Addison & Evelyn, siblings Jane (Ken) Gasper, George (Susan) Majinska, brother-in-law Ron Bergeron, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mary Bergeron, Richard (Beth) Majinska, Martha (Robert) Sturm. Visitation will be held on Friday,June 2, 2023 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Koops Funeral Chapel Lake Odessa,MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St.Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa at 11 AM on Saturday,June 3, 2023. Burial at Lake Side Cemetery,Lake Odessa. Donation inJoe's name can be given to American Liver Foundation or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation.
