LAKE ODESSA- Brenda Lee (Klotz Makley passed away at Spectrum Health in Grand 
Rapids on March 21, 2006 at the age of 46.

She was born on July 26, 1959 in Charlotte the daughter of Jacqueline L. Klotz 
Fees of Vermontville and Keith L. Klotz of Auburn, WA.

Brenda graduated from Lakewood High School in 1977 and in August of 1978 she 
married Scott Eugene Makley.

Brenda had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing, swimming and 
canning, but her greatest love was caring for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Scott Eugene Makley; 
children, Nicole Louise Makley of Ionia and Branden Gene Makley at home; mother 
and stepfather, Jacqueline L. (Klotz and Don Feess; father, Keith L. Klotz of 
Vermontville; grandmother, Pauline Reed of Vermontville; mother-in-law, Betty 
Makley of Lake Odessa; special friends, Mike and Gale Hunt of Lake Odessa; 
nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Respecting the family wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no 
services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lakewood 
Ambulance in Woodland, or to the charity of one’s choice.
