           MALE

Michael W. Male, age 76 of Saranac, Michigan passed away August 22, 2023. He was 
born on November 5, 1946, to Wesley and Pat Male of Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

Michael served in the US Navy during Vietnam from 1964-1967 and was one of the 
founders of the Michigan Antique Radio Club. He worked various jobs before 
hiring at SteelCase and retiring after 25 years. 

Michael married Rebecca Gray on November 12, 1993, after meeting at the Ionia 
Free Fair in 1971.

Surviving along with his wife are his sons, Christopher Chapman, and Michael 
(Hailey)Chapman; grandchildren, Beatrice, Paxton and Remington; sister, Francis 
Vruggink and many  loved nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wilson.

A Memorial service will be held at 2PM, Tuesday August 29, 2023, at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services,
