Mrs. William Malone Died at Her Home on Pleasant Street, Friday. Mrs. William Malone passed away last Friday evening, Oct. 10, at 7 o’clock, from her home on South Pleasant street, aged 47 years, 2 months and 26 days. She survived her father by just five years, he having died Oct. 10, 1908. Edith Craven was born July 15, 1866, in Barry county, Mich. She spent her childhood and young womanhood days at home until the age of 20, when she was united in marriage to William H. Malone, of the same county. To this union four children were born: Lulu, Lena, Lemuel and Lura, all of whom, together with her husband, survives her. In 1901, they moved to this city where she lived until her death. She has been an ernest Christian since her girlhood days and on moving to this city joined the M. E. church and became a faithful and earnest worker. Besides her husband and four children, she leaves four grandchildren, her mother, an aged grandmother, two sisters, one brother and a host of friends to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at the house, Tuesday, at 3 o’clock p.m., conducted by her former pastor, Rev. G. W. Maxwell of Mason, and attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
