Death came to William H. Malone, aged 70, well known and long time resident of 
this city, early Monday morning February 1, following an illness of several 
years duration.  Mr. Malone was a faithful member of the Maccabees and several 
other fraternal organizations and was especially active in the Sons of Veterans 
and rose to a high rank in that organization.  

Surviving are a son, Jack, and a daughter, Mrs. Lena Munzey, both of Muskegon.  

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Fitzjohn 
funeral home, with Rev. H. E. Curch of Mt. Pleasant, former pastor of the local 
Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will be in River Ridge cemetery beside 
his wife, who died 24 years ago.
