She was in Petoskey visiting friends at the time she was taken ill. She was born in Oakfield township, Kent county, and was graduated from Belding high school. She was also graduated from Central State Teachers college at Mt. Pleasant as a laboratory technician. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Belding. Surviving besides the sister, is one brother, Kenneth Maloney, of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Joseph’s Catholic church. Rev. Fr. R.J. Kelly will officiate and interment will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery south of Belding.
