He became suddenly ill at his room in the building occupied by the Hudson agency near the Ypsilanti Reed factory on South Dexter street and was taken to the Ionia City hospital by ambulance. Coroner Harry Myers and Chief Deputy Sheriff Ben Neve who were called said there would be no inquest. The body was taken to the Stone funeral home. Funeral arrangements are being completed. Mr. Maloney was formerly of Portland where he was employed at Jed Brigg’s oil station.
