Ionia Daily Sentinel, 6 Nov 1913

Palo – Nov. 3. – The funeral services for Mrs. Maria Mandeville were held at the 
home here Friday afternoon.  Rev. I. B. Buffum conducted the services and was 
assisted by the Baptist choir.  Mrs. Mandeville until the last few years of her 
life was an active member of the Eastern Star, holding prominent offices until 
failing health confined her to her home.  She was laid to rest in the Palo 
cemetery.
