Ionia Standard, Fri., Oct. 2, 1913
Chas. H. Mandeville died at the home in Palo Wednesday, and in his death Ionia 
county loses a most admirable citizen. Mr. Mandeville was a resident of Ionia a 
year or two , occupying the home on East Main street now owned by Edw. F. 
Gallagher, which he purchased. Deceased was a member of Ionia Commandery No. 
11, Knights Templar. He also belonged to Palo blue lodge and Lyons chapter. 

The funeral for Chas. H Mandeville will be held at the home in Palo Friday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Ionia Commandery Knights Templar will attend in a body. 
In the death of Mr. Mandeville Palo and Ionia County loses one of its best 
citizens - a man of thorough honesty and lovable  disposition who will be 
generally mourned.

The funeral for Chas. H. Mandeville was held this afternoon at Palo from the 
home and burial was in Palo cemetery. A number of the members of Ionia 
commandery, Knights Templar, of which Mr. Mandeville was a member attended 
leaving here in automobiles after dinner.
