The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, March 31, 1988

Anna S. Manley, 85, of Ionia and Orleans, died Wednesday, March 30, at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  She was born the daughter of Jens and Mary Spanne 
on Feb. 3, 1903, in Orleans.  

She is survived by a son, Arlo of Ionia; four grandchildren; and one brother, 
Peter Spanne of Ionia.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday from the Rich Street Chapel of 
Cook Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Burial will be 
in Balcom Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 
8:30 p.m.
