Manley, 71, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus Long Term Care, Greenville, after a short illness. She was born May 11, 1934, the daughter of Roy H. and Helena L. Larsen Cooper. Her hobbies included fishing, slots and bus trips. Grace was active in T.O.P.S., Curves and volunteered at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the Greenville VFW Post 3794. Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leonard W. Manley Jr., on March 4, 1989. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Irish, Barb and Robert Ladermann, Elva and Pete Kelley, all of Greenville, Doris Merritt of Lyons; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Mary Cooper of Sidney; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Neil Manley of Greenville; and her fishing buddies, Marge, Donnie and Vernie. Funeral and committal services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Kevin Crowell officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 Monday and 1 p.m. until the service Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made in Grace’s name to the Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
