Mann died Friday, July 13, three weeks to the day after the burial of his wife. He had been baptized into the Catholic church on Sunday, July 8. Mann’s father-in-law, James Foley, of Cadillac, who died many years ago, died four weeks to the day after his wife, Mann’s mother-in-law, had died. Mann was born July 4, 1880 and had been a farmer for many years near Carson City until his retirement. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James Kavanaugh of Carson City, Mrs. Penny Cusack of Lansing, Mrs. Steve Dailey of Carson City, and one son, Carroll, of St. Louis, Mo. A brother-in-law, Frank Marion, of 138 East Main street, and a nephew, James Schoen, of Baldie street, Ionia, also survive.
