The deceased was one of the most popular young men in the city and his death, though not unexpected, was a very sad event to his parents, his young wife, and his many friends. His health had always been good until less than a year since. Last fall he began to fail rapidly and went to Colorado hoping to recover it but received no benefit. He returned home a few weeks since to die among friends. He was a member of the city fire department and the boys turned out in uniform with hose cart No. 1 appropriately draped, and headed by Schmucker’s band, to escort the body to its last resting place. ---- Mr. and Mrs. Calvin T. Mann, of Fentonville, came to attend the funeral of Marion A. Mann. “Cal” looks as young and hearty as he did ten years ago. He reports a pleasant location and good business at Fentonville.
