Sudden Death

Of Former Lyons Resident at Jackson Monday, Dec. 8

News reached here Tuesday morning of the death of Mrs. Frank L. Manning at 
Jackson on Monday the 8th.  Mr. and Mrs. Manning were residents of Lyons for 
several years and are well known to the people here.  Their home was the 
present residence of L. A. Clark in the east end of the village.  Mrs. 
Manning’s death was quite sudden and was caused by apoplexy.  She was a woman 
of force and ability, and was a leader in public affairs.  She was loved and 
esteemed by all who knew her and she will be much missed by the old friends in 
Lyons.
