Ionia Daily Standard, 12 Sep 1912

The funeral services for Fred Manning were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock
from the home of his sister, Mrs. Ed. Fanning, on King street.  Rev. W.K.
Spencer of the Presbyterian church officiated at the service and music was
furnished by Mesdames Thane Benedict and G.M. Phelps.  The body was escorted to
Highland Park by nearly one hundred members of the Moose and Oddfellows.
