Portland Observer, 21 Jan 1932

Marenus Mulder, 35, residing on the place known as the McKishnie farm west of 
town, died Saturday morning of heart disease, thought to have been induced by 
overwork.  The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian 
Reformed Church in Sebewa.  Burial was in Sebewa cemetery.

Mr. Mulder was born in Iowa and came to Lake Odessa eight years ago, moving 
four years ago to the farm where he died.  He had undergone treatment for the 
malady in Blodgett hospital and only recently returned.

He had been married 13 years and leaves the widow and three children, Albert, 
13, Katherine, nine, and Mary Ann, three.
