Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Jan 1938

Requiem High Mass was sung by Father Flanigan at 10 a.m. Friday morning in the
church of St. John the Baptist of Hubbardston for Robert Marion, 7, fatally
injured in an automobile accident Monday, January 17.  Bearers were schoolmates
of Robert at the St. John’s school, where he was a member of the second grade.

He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Marion; two
sisters, Marcella Marie and Julia Catherine; his two grandfathers, Mathew
Marion, of Jackson, Mich., and Daniel Slowinski, of Lake Odessa; several aunts
and uncles.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Hubbardston.]
