Marker, 86, of 281 Summit St. in Saranac died Friday at the Belding Christian Nursing Home. She was born in Lowell Township Nov. 12, 1893 to the parents of Charles and Gertie King Yeiter. She has lived in the Ionia and Saranac area most of her life. She was a member of the Rebecca Past Noble Grands of Ionia and the World War I Auxiliary of Ionia. She married Dr. Frederick A. Marker Jan. 4, 1915 in Grand Rapids who preceded her in death in 1970. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frances Clemens of Saranac, Mrs. Wayne (Sarah) Hatadis of Florida; two brothers, R.D. Yeiter of Lowell, and Wilber Yeiter of Nunica; one sister, Mrs. Elmer (Hester) Jenks of Belding; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with the Rev. James Frank officiating. Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.
