The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 1, 1937

Sarah Markey, 75, who lived with her brother at 633 East Main street, died at 
her home early Saturday morning.  Mrs. Markey fell and fractured her hip four 
weeks ago, and has been in poor health since.

Her brother, Fred Allen, who works away from here, is her only survivor.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, May 3, at 2:30 o’clock from 
the Myers funeral home.
