IONIA-Markle, Marilyn Jean, 67, of Ionia, died Friday, October 7, 1994, at 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on August 9, 1927 in Ionia, the daughter of LeRoy and Dorothy 
(Ogden) Fuller.

She spent her entire life in Ionia. In 1945 she graduated from Ionia High 
School and attended Davenport College for two years. She married Charles f. 
Markle on December 26, 1956 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1990. 
She was employed at Mitchell Bentley and Ionia County Probation Office as a 
secretary. 

She is survived by three daughters; Judy (Gregg) Yeasley, of Fenwick, Jill 
(Dennis) Kimble, of Saranac, and Julie (Dave) Nethercot, of Grand Rapids; 7 
grandchildren; two sisters; Ilene (Richard) Hartman and Shirley (Buck) Hummel, 
both of Ionia; four brothers; Barton (Ardith) Fuller, of Ionia, Richard (Nancy) 
Fuller, of Grand Haven, Jack Fuller, and Rod (Virginia) Fuller, both of Ionia; 
and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1990, and her parents, 
LeRoy and Dorothy Fuller. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Cook 
Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Myers Memorial Chapel. Rev. 
Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church will be officiating. Interment will 
be in Balcom Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Ionia Helping Hands; envelopes are available at the 
funeral home.
