The body of Mrs. William Marlett of Grand Rapids was brought here for burial 
Sunday.  Mrs. Marlett passed away at her home Thursday and at the time of her 
death was 83 years of age.  Although the deceased has no relatives in this 
vicinity she has many friends made during the years she resided here.  She is 
best known among her former friends by her maiden name, Miss Russell.  Services 
were held at the M. E. church after which the body was taken to the West Side 
cemetery for burial.
