Lake Odessa Wave - January 13, 1966
          SERVICES HELD FOR ELSIE JAN MARLOW
   Mrs. Elsie Jane Marlow, 1130 Jordan Lake Ave. died Friday morning at 8 o'clock at
Pennock Hospital where 
she had been a patient 18 days.
   She was born June 21, 1883, the daughter of Wm. and Lillie (Filkins) Parker of
Detroit Lakes, Minn..  She 
came to Michigan at the age of 3 with her parents who settled on a farm west of Lake
Odessa.
   She is survived by one son Victor of Mulliken, two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Letha)
Price of Lake Odessa and 
Mrs. Elmer (Eva) Price of Onaway, 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
   She moved to Lake Odessa from Hastings in 1953.
   Services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Lake
Odessa with Rev. Dean 
VanderVeen officiating.  Burial in Lakeside cemetery.
